When we first started listening to the community, it became clear that connectivity was a major concern. With that in mind, we set out to enhance accessibility throughout our Port Renfrew holdings.
Take, for instance, our upgrades to the Deering Road and Parkinson Road interchange. This once-busy and confusing intersection has been transformed into a safer space for everyone. With improved sight lines, better signage, and a new crosswalk, crossing this area is now a breeze. The completion of the walking path along Beach View Drive has also been a game changer. Dedicated to the Capital Region District Parks, this elevated walkway provides a beautiful, safe route that allows residents to leave the highway behind.
